The most important goal now is to increase votes for Obama in VA Print

At this time, Washington area RPCVs and staff at the Obama Campaign in VA agree that the most important goal now is to increase votes for Obama in VA - a swing state - and to convince voters of why they should vote for Obama. We have decided to focus our energies in VArather than organize a rally at The U. S. Capitol.

RPCVs want to focus in VA on ISSUES vis a vis McCain's platform, i. e. foreign policy, community service, and environment.

A liaison has been formed between RPCVs in the Washington, DC area and the Foreign Policy Professionals for Obama www.foreignpolicyforobama.com - a network to inform voters on Obama's foreign policy and to get out the vote for Obama in VA. It is an excellent vehicle for RPCVS in the Washington, DC area. A wide range of professionals from many walks of life are involved. A group of RPCVs who are experts in environment and energy are interested in campaigning in VA: press coverage and a "town meeting" on environment...radio talk show, local newspaper articles... need to get a VA contingent representing military, environment, security, economic development - and create signs and images - maybe a press conference. If interested, please contact: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Most importantly: do whatever you can wherever you are to increase votes for Obama.
