We need new leadership in the White House. We need someone who understands the world, someone who has experience living overseas, someone who can show what America is capable of doing if we set our minds to it. We need Barack Obama. RPCV's for Obama is a site for Returned Peace Corps Volunteers who are interested in making a difference at home, just like we did in the Peace Corps. There are over 190,000 Americans who dedicated two years of their lives to make the world a better place. These individually unique experiences gave us a chance to help others. We now have the opportunity to make a difference again. The goals for RPCV's for Obama: - Use the network of Returned Peace Corps Volunteers to make 10,000 connections to generate 100,000 votes for Barack Obama.
- Provide input from the RPCV community to Obama administration, fulfilling the “Third Goal”of the Peace Corps mission.
- Create a community of RPCV’S,connecting with others who share hopes and plans about the future of the Peace Corps and our country.
Does 100,000 votes make a difference? You bet it does. Every vote counts and we want to help make a difference in 2008. Check out the section on "What Can I Do" for more information. Let's make this happen! Goto Calendar Test Page
